Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Located in beautiful Roeding Park, the zoological gardens are home to over 700 animals. The Sunda Forest is the habitat of orangutans, siamangs, and tigers. Nearly a third of a mile of vines and bamboo timber allow the apes to swing through the forest. Enjoy the Winged Wonders Bird Show from April through September. Open daily. Cat Haven - Project Survival
Education is central to the mission of the Cat Haven and to its non-profit sister organization, Project Survival, Cat Conservation Group. The Cat Haven exhibits a variety of rare and unusual wild cats while Project Survival offers slide shows, programs of specialized study and hand-on educational games and crafts for young people.
