Discovery Center Museum of Science & Natural History

A museum of natural science allowing visitors to experience science alive in ways a static museum
cannot provide. The Discovery Center features many hands-on interactive exhibits to encourage excitement
and curiosity in children about science and the world around us. Exhibits include a 150-variety cactus
garden, live desert mice, rabbits, tortoises and a coyote, as well as dioramas of local ecosystems.

Downing Planetarium

Come and take a cosmic tour, this 74-seat theatre on the campus of California State University, Fresno
features a 30-foot dome. Shows are held Friday and Saturday. Stargazing on Friday nights.
