Fulton Mall
In 1964, the Fulton Mall was created by closing six blocks of Fulton Street along with short segments of
three intersecting streets to vehicular traffic. This design brilliantly integrates art and landscape
architecture, while also featuring some outstanding displays of early classical California high-rises –
many with state and national historic designations. The Mall affords visitors an opportunity to stroll
down an open-air mall and enjoy one of the finest public art collections anywhere. The Mall is home to

Manchester Center
Manchester Center was the first regional mall in Fresno and has recently been renovated to serve as
mixed-use facility while building on its retail core. The Center is anchored by Sears and Gottschalks,

The beautiful rural community of Kingsburg is located on Freeway 99, 20 miles south of Fresno. And is

Old Town Clovis

Tower District
The Historic Tower District emerged in the early 1900’s as a streetcar suburb of a rapidly growing Fresno.
By the 1940’s its namesake (the Tower Theatre) had been built and the district had evolved into a dense,
diverse, thriving neighborhood. In the late eighties the Tower District began a bit of a renaissance,
spurred by the unique art deco architecture of the area, and the lively, pedestrian-oriented atmosphere.
The Tower District serves as Fresno’s predominant arts and entertainment district. Neighborhood businesses
include restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, performing arts facilities, live music and community theater venues,
bakeries, delis, and a wide variety of specialty retail establishments selling used books, designer
